Premier Brands will be from the Market leader within the category such as 3M for Adhesive Tapes, ITW for Packaging Films. They are global manufacturers of the highest quality and performance, supplied against recognised Industry standards and specifications. Will have been used in many applications under varying conditions. We have complete confidence in their consistency and the warranty they represent.

Secondary Brands will be lesser known,  usually UK or European manufacture who specialise in a narrower range of products within a particular category e.g. Steratape for fingerlift tapes. Proven performance in recognised applications plus consistent supply.

Unbranded or Plain Label are manufactured under industry standards and minimum product specifications.  Different sources will be used to provide greater price stability. Increasingly, the products will be sourced from the Far East with longer, less reliable  supply chains.

Where our products are used as a Raw Material and become an inherent part of your finished product e.g. a double sided tape for trim attachment,  we would always  recommend Premier Branded Products.  The more individual your product , the greater importance for Premier Brands.

Where our product is used as part of a Process that is consistent across the industry e.g. Platemounting within flexographic printing then either Premier or Secondary Brands would be suggested.

When products are used outside of their original purpose such as masking tape for bundling or tabbing applications, or where more than sufficient quantity is used to provide fail safe conditions e.g double taping with packing tape then Unbranded, Plain Label products will provide cost effective solutions. Using a High Performance Double Sided Tape for a wide variety of applications may well be a cheaper option to carrying three or four different products for separate applications. We will source alternative brands and qualities for trials and cost down evaluations.
