Using polyurethane protective tape to prevent aircraft corrosion
Aerospace Cabin Floor Protection1 150x150 Protecting from abrasion The images on the right show 3M’s polyurethane protective tape being applied to the leading edge of an aircraft wing. Similar is applied to a BAE Hawk Red Arrows aircraft.

Also there’s a photo of the protected  and  unprotected areas of a test sample following sandblasting to demonstrate just how resistant the product is.
