BASA’s guide – ISO 11600 classification of sealants applied within construction emphasises materials must be able to cope with joint movements. Therefore those products that contain in-built flexibility must use the suffix ‘LM’. Those that give more resistance to physical abuse and reduced flexibility are denoted by showing ‘HM’.

3M’s products include high performance single-part MS polymers as well as non-gunnable butyl sealant strips & single-sided seam tapes. Easy to apply, they’ll stick to almost all surfaces due to inbuilt aggressive adhesive chemistry including UV technology.
