Where excess temperatures, weathers, vibrations or mis-match surfaces exist, structural adhesives deals with them all. The performance level is so great that these products are equal to or even stronger than the materials that are being stuck together. |
| Our 3M range mainly consists of 2 part kits in pastes or liquids which are mixed manually or with the aid of dispensers making adhesive placement a lot accurate. We supply specialist adhesives that self-clamp and benefit production processes by reducing time during component cure.
There are 3 important base types to consider….
One-Part Structurals are covered including essential primers. Also we include an Engineering structural kit where time can be saved because you only have one surface to coat, apply the primer to the other and bring together. Scotch-Weld EPX is the easy way of dispensing 2-part adhesives! There’s no need to measure or weigh in achieving the correct mix. You just lock the nozzle onto the glue cartridge, slip into the applicator bracket and you’re ready to go. No mixing, no fuss, no mistakes; providing excellent bonding and seals always. Suitable for almost everything from wood and plastics to glass or metals. Click here to see the latest news about the All Clear EPX – DP804 Scotch-Weld Bulks are available as manual mixing kits designed for peculiar surface textures or where bulk re-inforcing of substrates is essential. It allows you to achieve specific consistencies to suit the task in hand. Clamping may be necessary and curing happens at room temperature. Scotch-Weld Jet Weld Reactive uses a heating applicator that dispenses polyurethane adhesives. It’s a 1-part product offering bonding strengths similar to 2-part but irradicates the need to clamp or jig components together. You get latitude when sticking materials because you get time to adjust before final compression. Once bonded, just leave it as the self-clamping ‘kicks in’ and draws the surfaces together and continues to cure prior to the next process. |
