After all, if you want to stick to a material and there’s surface dust, then it’ll bond successfully to the dust, then fail! The same can be said for grease or even fine water droplets. If these contaminates are present, then the chances of getting good adhesion will be little to none. |

We stock cleaners and primers that will ensure you of successful bonding performance. These can be used at various stages during manufacturing, from wiping products to cleaning solutions. We recommend 3M’s high-performance cloth which contains microstructures. This is a key operation made effortless by using this product. To obtain optimum adhesion surfaces must be clean and dry all over. Cleaning solvents such as 3M Citrus cleaners or Mykal degreasers will remove any contaminants and debris in order to ensure good surface receptors are present prior to tape application. |
