Hand – This material is strong but light and flexible conforming to awkward shapes.  It’s ideal for most strapping applications from bundling to individual cartons and light weight pallets.  They come already reeled onto convenient plastic cores and often are used with a mobile dispenser. Ideally you can use our 12mm tensioner, sealer and standard duty seals.

Polypropylene strap is the most commonly used. It will not rust or strain the packaging and is available in a wide range of sizes and breaking strains. AND now we introduce Dylastic^® providing that extra performance for light / medium-duty closure applications with excellent elongation recovery.

Polyester variety is much stronger and an important consideration where loads are an issue. In some cases, as strong as steel with the major advantage of less risk of accidents. In addition we are delighted to include Tenax^® the real alternative to steel in heavy-duty applications. This ensures strapping stays tight and absorbs external impacts especially in external storage of construction materials. What’s more you gain pricing stability to combat escalating costs in steel where this is an issue.

Steel remains the popular choice for excessive weights and load shapes. It’s the ”belt & braces” of strapping and is a cold-rolled and low carbon product engineered to yield a higher break strength with thinner gauge steels: an important factor when one considers today’s shipping costs.

Customised Printed Strap for Security, Identification & Promotion and improves security and appearance. This is a valuable marketing tool that helps drive home a company’s message. Corded Strap is tougher than steel and a huge cost and timing saving benefit. Besides this, it’s very simple to apply and safe to use. For light loads you can tie by hand but recommended is usingcorded strap with the recommended metal buckle.

Tools & Machinery

Tools are easily available and we have quite a selection of standard, combination and heat activated welding tools.
Semi and fully automatic machine applied polypropylene strapping is ideal for bundling products, such as newspapers or magazines.  It is also ideal for strapping individual cartons especially where high volume is concerned. Polypropylene strapping is lightweight and offers great flexibility, reliability and performance.
