All cloth tapes are strong and give good conformability. As they contain zero corrosive adhesive laminates, reactions to applied surfaces are minimal. Generally, some tapes will peel cleanly but full tests should be carried out to confirm this. Our cloth tapes are manufactured by Advance tape International who for a number of years have developed several technologies for various applications including Construction and hi-specification MOD approved products. |
| Cloth tape types Cotton cloth is a biodegradeable and environmentally product with neutral ph values. Conformable when applied, its easy to unwing and very tough. Good for shot blast masking, sport handle strapping and dressing animals’ legs. Polycoated waterproof cloth is made to withstand long term external exposure and has good abrasion and water resistance. Ideal for patching and masking off in dockyards. Glass cloth has the ability to insulate against high temperatures and has high tensile characteristics making it suitable for sealing ducts or even to assist in submerged arc welding. Flame retardant cloth conforms to FAR 25.853 with writable surface and high adhesion levels. Seals flame safety panels. Thermosetting duct cloth has glossy finish and abrasion resistance. Writable surface and becomes solid once baked > 110ºc. Great for joint sealing. |
