A range of cold process shrink kits designed for various cables and Hydrocarbon Resistant joints that is the real economic method against heat shrink considerably reducing time. USE where there is a risk of hazards such as presence of inflammable gases. Kits contain pre-stretched tubes which shrink down over connectors or lugs when tube cores are unwound. Fast and simple application as no torch or heat or resins required. Achieve water-tight connections. Kits available for: Cables rated: 0.6/1kV up to 1.9/3.3kV. 3-core cable, rated to 3.6/6.6kV. Network Rail spec cable joints. Each kit includes EPDM rubber cold shrink tube + Armour continuity + tape + full instructions. |

A one method solution for all repairs to cables carrying up to 3.3kV. Contains Scotchcast resin for permanent fixes and won’t work lose. Mix-in-bag resin complies with current EU electrical regulations. Results are tough for external, underground or submersive locations. Big savings in time compared to other traditional methods. Each kit includes re-useable 2-part mould, 3M 1471 Resin, armour continuity, adhesive tapes plus full instructions. Purchase tape No. 23 separately for 6.6kV unscreened cables. |
