Coated with a silicone adhesive, this tape is designed to bond to a variety of difficult surfaces. It is chemical resistant and performs under a wide range of temperatures and environments.
Adhere 3M™ Polyester Tape 8905 to tough to stick surfaces, such as silicone liners and fixtures coated with mould release. Our tape is made of a tough, non-slivering, transparent blue, polyester backing with silicone adhesive. These features contribute to an extremely high tensile strength while also providing the ability to perform at high temperatures. It has excellent thermal, abrasion and chemical resistance while maintaining flexibility. The silicone adhesive offers high heat resistance compared to many rubber and acrylic adhesives, reducing failure due to softening or oozing of adhesive transfer. It removes cleanly from a variety of surfaces even after a 204°C bake.
