3M 4957 VHB tape is a multi-purpose acrylic adhesive with a conformable, foam core. It can replace rivets, welds and screws. It offers design flexibility with its viscoelasticity and powerful ability to bond to a variety of high and medium surface energy substrates. Allow for a more complete bond contact area when bonding rigid or irregular materials with 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4947.
The conformable, high strength, double-sided tape is the perfect product for badge and trim mounting in the automotive industries. It’s a pressure-sensitive, closed-cell acrylic foam tape with a PE film liner that’s strong, clean and durable. The tape is also plasticiser resistant, offering protection and peace of mind.
