3M Scotch-Weld Structural Epoxy Adhesive 7246-2 B/A FST is a two component epoxy adhesive which cures at room temperature or with mild heat to form a strong structural bond with impact resistance. It has an excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates such as metals, ceramics and plastics, including GFRP and CFRP. Once cured it provides extremely high mechanical strength over a wide temperature range, with excellent resistance to harsh environments and chemicals. Scotch-Weld adhesive 7246-2 B/A FST simplifies many aircraft interior manufacturing tasks by allowing builders to complete assembly and FST (Fire, Smoke, Toxicity) compatibility operations in a single step. The versatile product could also replace several different types of conventional adhesive, simplifying stocking requirements and improving productivity.
