The next generation of thin bonding has arrived, 3M™ GPT-020F double coated tape is the ideal general purpose industrial thin bonding tape for a wide range of applications and substrates. It is a transparent 200 micron thick tape, solventless acrylic adhesive, combining a high level of peel and shear performance. Providing versatility with high initial tack and humidity resistance, it also has the capability to bond to a wide variety of substrates from high to some low surface energy substrates. High temperature resistance, providing full bonding performance: up to +190 °C short term, up to +90 °C long term.
Bonds to many high surface energy substrates and some low surface energy substrates, including stainless steel, HDPE, ABS, acrylic, PP, polycarbonate, aluminium and glass.
